Accessibility statement

MusicIndustryAI is committed to WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Accessibility was built in from day one. It is not a retrofit. If anything on this site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, a magnifier, or in any other accessibility context, email [email protected] and we will fix it.

Our commitment

We design and ship against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a baseline. For primary text content we target Level AAA contrast (7:1) where practical. We treat accessibility issues as priority bugs, same severity as a payment bug.

What is in place today

  • All text is sized in rem units, so it respects your browser font-size preference.
  • Color contrast meets 4.5:1 minimum (WCAG AA) across the site, and 7:1 (WCAG AAA) on primary body content.
  • Every interactive element has a visible focus ring rendered with the primary color and an offset against the page background.
  • Full keyboard navigation. Every action on the site is reachable with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Escape. No keyboard traps.
  • Screen reader support. ARIA labels on icon-only buttons. Dialog roles on modals. Live regions where appropriate. Proper h1 to h3 hierarchy on every page.
  • Reduced motion. The media query prefers-reduced-motion: reduce removes all animations, transitions, and slide effects.
  • High contrast. The media query prefers-contrast: high triggers stronger borders and increased contrast.
  • Closed captions are provided on every module video, in English and Spanish where applicable.
  • Skip-to-content link is present in the header and becomes visible on focus.
  • The cookie consent banner is a true ARIA dialog with a focus trap, Escape key dismiss, and an auto-focused dismiss button on mount.
  • Color is never the only signal. Icons and text accompany color cues.
  • Forms have visible labels. Error messages are tied to inputs via aria-describedby.

Known limitations

Some surfaces depend on third-party vendors whose accessibility we do not fully control. We surface them here.

  • Long-form module videos are hosted via Mux Player. The screen reader experience depends on Mux Player's own accessibility work. We track their updates and pass feedback upstream.
  • The Pro community runs on Slack. Slack's accessibility is governed by Slack's own VPAT and commitments.
  • Payment checkout is rendered by Stripe Checkout. That surface follows Stripe's accessibility implementation.

Feedback

If you find an accessibility issue, please email [email protected] with the page URL, the device and assistive technology you use, and a short description. We treat accessibility issues as priority bugs and aim to ship a fix within 7 days.
